Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Analyst with at least 5 years of proven expertise to join team based in Cape Town, this hybrid role requires in-office presence three times per week.

 

In this role, you’ll analyse, design, and optimise systems that support our insurance platforms and customer experience. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, document requirements, and ensure seamless integration between business processes and technology solutions. Knowledge of OpenAI technologies and their application in business systems is essential, as you’ll help us embed intelligent automation and decision support into our platforms.

 

Key responsibilities

As a systems analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Investigating and defining business process requirements.
  • Documenting requirements, including data models, interfaces, and workflows.
  • Collaborating with developers, testers, and project managers to deliver solutions.
  • Leading and participating in requirements workshops and user acceptance testing.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and establishing system needs with stakeholders.
  • Developing strategies to improve business processes and identify risks.
  • Facilitating implementation of new or improved processes.
  • Providing end-user support and training.
  • Consulting management on business procedures and policy improvements.
  • Exploring and advising on the integration of OpenAI technologies to enhance system capabilities.

 

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Strong background in business process modelling and requirements documentation.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
  • Familiarity with process notations and modelling tools (e.g., BPMN, ARIS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms, with practical experience in applying them to business systems.
