Role Summary

iqbusiness is seeking experienced Scrum Masters, Agile Consultants, or aspiring Agile Coaches for both Permanent and Contract opportunities to join the largest Agile consulting team in Southern Africa. This is an opportunity to create meaningful impact by helping clients design environments that enable improved delivery outcomes. You will work within dynamic, evolving organisations, applying Agile values and principles to enhance delivery performance and foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Place the customer at the centre of all decision-making and delivery activities
• Apply pragmatic, hands-on problem‑solving to support client teams and drive outcomes
• Use Agile values and principles to guide ways of working and improve team delivery
• Support and enable organisational change within complex and evolving environments
• Engage daily with business and delivery teams to foster collaboration and alignment
• Create a supportive environment for delivery teams to grow and perform
• Demonstrate resilience within challenging client environments
• Encourage face‑to‑face communication and effective interpersonal engagement
• Navigate corporate governance structures to enable innovation and balanced ways of working
• Stay informed about software development trends, including DevOps, SAFe, and AI
• Demonstrate strong servant leadership to support and enable team success
• Promote collaboration across client teams and within the iqbusiness Agility team
• Coach individuals and teams to improve their Agile maturity and autonomy
• Apply practical experience gained from at least 3 years working in an Agile team as a Scrum Master or development team member

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM), OR Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or PSM II), OR PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner
• Understanding of Kanban and Lean Software Development
• Additional relevant Agile certifications (advantageous)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an Agile team (Scrum Master or development team)

Education

• Matric (required)
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or recognised certification from an accredited
• institution)
