Job Description

We are looking for a FinOps Senior Support Administrator who will support the internal workings of our business.

The focus of this role will be general business administration and coordinating day to day operations. The environment is multicultural and diverse and requires a people’s person; someone who can communicate well at various levels. The administrator/successful candidate will be required to proactively contribute to the growth and success of the company’s business operations.

Practice Administration

  • Coordinate all travel arrangements and requirements
  • Processing of all payment requisitions
  • General office management
  • Maintain Data Integrity
  • System administration for Practice
  • Timesheets
  • Ops Support within other practice's billing

Resource planning

  • Effective team capacity planning
  • On-boarding and off-boarding of IQers from projects
  • On-boarding of new IQers into Practice
  • Assist in the allocation of IQers to projects
  • Assist with timesheet approval, billability and overall management

Financial administration

  • Invoicing and billability
  • Vetting of contracts provided for projects
  • Calculating and monitoring project revenue
  • Compiling invoices
  • Assist with tasks relating to debtors management
  • Tracking and Monitoring of practice expenses

Stakeholder management and communication

  • Liaising and updating the Finance team on all revenue and invoicing through the Practice
  • Communicating with third parties, vendors and clients
  • Liaise closely across other Practices within IQbusiness to ensure optimisation of people, client engagements and operations

Adhoc projects

  • Coordinate team events
  • Adhoc duties and projects as they arise
  • Facilitate all learning and development requests


  • Matric
  • Diploma or Degree advantageous
  • 2 - 3 years’ plus experience in general and financial administration
  • Experience in billing, creditors and debtors, recons, purchase orders and invoicing
  • Very detail orientated and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Self-starter and out of the box thinker
